Doriel González, vice president of the Food and Poultry Business Group (GEALAV), told Prensa Latina that the intention is to attract foreign investment and, through an international economic partnership, promote the production of both chicken meat and eggs, two products in high demand and whose acquisition in the domestic market is guaranteed. He also explained that GEALAV has 26 production companies, a research institute, and a genetics company that has supported egg production since 1963.
The partnership with a foreign partner would make it possible to improve equipment and technology on farms, guarantee a stable supply of animal feed and medicines, as well as increase the number of layers in the more than 20 units available.
In turn, the Pork Production and Marketing Business Group is focusing on finding a partner for animal feed production, thereby ensuring increased pork availability.
The 34th edition of Vietnam Expo 2025 opened on Wednesday and will run until April 5. More than 500 companies from 16 countries and territories are participating, according to the organizers.
