WARREN, Maine (WABI) - A Maine woman is being recognized for being a trailblazer in the roofing industry.

Stacey Lytton, COO of Horch Roofing in Warren, is one of five finalists in QXO’s 2025 Female Roofing Professional of the Year award.

The program puts the spotlight on female roofing professionals across North America who have mastered their craft and are inspiring the next generation of women in the trades.

This year’s finalists were selected from over 1,000 nominations across the U.S. and Canada.

“These five extraordinary finalists possess the talent, grit, and leadership qualities that raise the bar for our entire industry. At QXO, we’re proud to celebrate women who master their craft and inspire the next generation to reach even higher,” said Josephine Berisha, QXO chief human resources officer.

Lytton started with Horch Roofing 15 years ago after responding to a newspaper ad.

She has made her way from office manager to executive and has helped get the company to where it is today.

She tells us she was ‘completely surprised’ to learn she was nominated.

“It’s not just about putting on roofs. We’re an entire ecosystem. We’re an entire community. We need people to do the books. We need people to be in sales. We need HR representatives. It’s an ecosystem just like any other business, and so there’s a place for everyone in roofing,” Lytton told WABI.

You can vote for Lytton through June 10th.

The grand prize winner will be announced on June 18th and will receive $10,000.
