Recently teasing a full-length version of a “Watching You” duet with Elijah via social media – see the post HERE – the tease has reached nearly 8M views, speaking to the fact that Atkins’ timeless music spans generations; kids that were in the backseat of the car hearing “Watching You” are now almost 20 years older still listening to Atkins’ music, while the younger generation is just discovering him via social media. Atkins was also presented with a plaque celebrating the RIAA Platinum certification of his iconic album, Take A Back Road.
